Dear journalist,
I would like to tell you about Ali who is dog lover, a pioneer in the establishment of a sheltering center for street dogs in our neighborhood. Ali is a fifth grade elementary school boy. He loves animals, especially dogs. One day, on his way to school, he saw an injured dog. Then he asked for help from his father to the dog. His father and Ali took the dog to the Vet. The veterinarian treated dog. Ali has learned that there are many injured street dogs from the veterinarian and they need a shelter. Ali informed his teacher about this subject. He asked his teacher what he could do for street dogs. His teacher said that they could give a student project to Tubitak. The teacher and Ali presented a project for the shelter and treatment of street dogs to Tubitak. Tubitak supported the project and a shelter and treatment center for street dogs was built in our neighborhood. This center was opened last week. Hundreds of street dogs now live in this center. Everyone in our neighborhood is proud of Ali. I wanted to inform you about this issue. I believe you will write what Ali has done for street dogs in one of your articles. Because Ali really deserves such an award.

      Thanks for your feedback. I just used my imagination. I read some papers on this issue. Indeed, in recent years, there are some projects of Tubitak and different organizations on rehabilitation of street dogs.
